Christmas Wish List

At the end of November, I start asking all my family members to send me their Christmas Wishlists. I really love seeing what’s on their list because I want to give them exactly what they’re wishing for. But also because I like getting ideas for things I may need or want for myself or other loved ones.

We can’t give our family everything on their list for Christmas but it’s a great resource to have for any other future occasion like birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or Valentine’s day.

So, I’m sharing my Christmas wishlist to help you get ideas for any last minute gifts you may need to get. It has alllll sorts of things. And it features some of my favorite makers, Amazon favorites, and some luxury items. And if you’ve bought all your gifts, then just add some to your wishlist 😉

Let me know which items are your favorites?

This is my favorite summer outfit for 2015! I love patterns and bright colors. And I especially like florals. It’s the first time I purchase a crop top. And I was brave enough to wear one because I’ve been working on getting in better health and shape for the past 3 months. I’m feeling proud of myself! Pairing this high waisted skirt with a crop top is a modest way to rock a crop top. The best part is that I got this outfit for less than $12. Both items were on SALE at H&M. Definitely “Styld by Grace” approved! 😉

5 Floral Accessory Finds

springfloral2_collage_artwork

These are some floral accessories I found in my own closet. No shopping necessary! I’ve had these pieces for a few years, but I haven’t put them to good use in a while.

It’s a smart habit to hold on to statement pieces (big or small), even if you aren’t using them consistently. They will most likely be your “new” go to accessory when you least expect it. What was out of style a few years ago, might be in style now. And what was old yesterday, might be new today.

Repurpose and reuse your accessories. The satisfaction of getting a compliment on an old treasure (with no money spent) is pretty awesome.

Share some of your personal closet finds! How will you use them this summer?

Flowers on sneakers, sunglasses and crowns. Hooray!

I’m loving this trend because it reminds me of some of my favorite childhood dresses. It takes me to a place of innocence and being care-free. I usually stay away from trends with prints but I’m going to be a little adventurous and collect some floral pieces to wear. I’ll be sharing some of my finds!

You can also check out my Pinterest board for additional floral pieces.

What do you think of this trend? Do you like it? Would you try it?

Styl’d by Grace

StyldbyGrace_balloons_Blog1

For months I have been contemplating to start my own blog. A blog with content that will edify women and empower them to live out their God-given purpose. In a relevant way… of course! After being encouraged by family members, friends and a gut feeling, I decided to start.

“Styl’d by Grace” is a blog for women of all walks of life. You’ll be able to read about the latest trends in fashion, learn about design, be inspired by posts that are faith-based and read stories about relationships, dating and friendship.

The main purpose of Styl’d by Grace is to provide a resource to young women that encourages them to live respectful and authentic lives. There are too many magazines, TV shows and twitter accounts that influence women to lead unfulfilled lives. This is my way of saying, “I’ve had enough!”.

It’s really tiring to be styled by what others think and it’s really overwhelming to be styled by the standards of our society. However, to be styled by truth brings freedom and revelation to our lives. I believe this blog will help women uncover truth in a practical and relevant way.

I invite you to join me in learning how to be Styl’d by Grace.
